The WAHM-ing journey

Today I suddenly felt that I have longed not blogged on here. Simply felt that it need to be poured out, despite I am not in the best time to write a blog.

Its the June holidays & the kids are home. And as usual, I refrained from taking any projects during any school holidays be it to massage, to do administrations work or mailing out goods.

Looking back at the months that I had spend my time trying out a business venture with not one particular well-known businesswoman who own a big Spa, but also a venture which turned out to be a bad investment with another Mother whose child is a prominent singer in the Malay Community locally. The first has given me great exposures, opened up my horizons on the service industry where no money-no-talk rules & its too a big industry for me to embarked & I just stepped back.

While the later, I sense less self-integrity is practise & no trust situation revolves around me whenever I face her. Like my MIL used to mentioned, 'A ship should not have two Captains, it will eventually capsized''... Oh how true it is, I told myself now. And I back-out losing all the capitals & even some arrears which I have to bear. But I do not feel bad at all or disappointed, in fact, I am thankful that God has given me the sign that I need to decide & stop at once before its too late. Otherwise I think more holes in the pocket!

After much hardship, much time spent to make the second business happened, Rid & I am still feeling blessed & happy as we still have MyMumsWorld (S) holding strong since yr2003 & it kept expanding...

Alhamdulillah. Gods grace!

Now, I have more plans for MMW and the rest of it for the near futures... I believe, a family support & love is all matters & the full support of my husband & children. We have a visions of how the business should run without the neglecting my families needs & wants. I am ambitious but I limite it to what I am comfortable now.

Thank you too to E.Lim for your trust in me.

I am still searching for improvements.

Hong Kong Trip (Outsource)

This is the first time we are offered to be outsourced overseas & to  Hong Kong for 10days to do a Postnatal for a Singaporean who have relocated there following her French Husband.
(And the business grow overseas, after years of building up network locally. thanks to the outsource, customers from KL, Australia, New Zealand eg... build up)

Tentatively, accommodation is at Causeway Bay. (the first 5days, my SIL joined me since its her sch hols, and I was alone the rest of the days!!) Getting arounf HK was so easy with MTR & it feels like home. Its almost the same city atmosphere...

Apart from the Postnatal in the day, I get to explore around the HK, to DisneyLand which w/out the kids I managed to finished touring within less than 5hrs! And the fireworks @ 8pm est was so beautiful & lively. Would love to come back again... and its the affordable ones that I can think of!

Went to Wanchai, ParkLane, Victoria & Tsim Tsa Sui Mosque. And theres Halal food all over! The shopping was tremendously affordable...

Khair on Home-School

Ahah, its a success! We intended to sent Khair to Infant Care but felt that it was too early for him for 8mths then. So meanwhile home-schooling is great to prepare him. We were planning when he is 18mths old, then we will send him for 3hrs of playgroup session. Slightly earlier than Sufi whom starts at 24mths exactly.

Its great, Khair enjoys it very much but he prefers to listen than holding on to those projects that I created!
