Preparation for the new sibling...

This happened last month...It was late afternoon, it was hubby off-day and we went to pick up our old baby cot that we bought back from Min - very sweet of her to sell it back to us... of course with the help of hubby's friend who drove a goods van. And not mentioning the weather was really hot, i am sweating like waterfalls!! phewww!! After which we had a short tea-break @ Jln Kayu which the shades are not really giving enough shades =) Thereafter, we waited for the boys to reach home & decided to fix up the baby cot together... we want them to feel that they are equally important and with the arrival of the baby, they are not to be replaced instead to add on as a merrier... We believed they had a great time. Theres also the new baby bumper which i managed to get it at 40% off last month, the good-will gesture froma fellow tutor - Fadil who worked temp @ Aussino. I have a few of mine but was thinking of having a few spares... and not forgetting some new newborn clothing to last me at least the first 10days, well i am only having PreLoved clothings whc ranges frm 3-6mths so this is a must have items... thanks to my sis - Maria, i really make full use of her MotherCare member's card =)

Its false alarm..

I really thought that today when i opened up my eyes, I will be at the hospital bed recovering from the ceasarian... Well, almost dropped everything last night and about to rush the Labour Ward. Its really painful and comes & goes within a 10mins gap. But its definitely not contractions for me as the pain is at the pelvis bone & i felt that something or somehow the baby is coming out. I really forget how it shld feel esp when its 4yrs gap from my 2nd child. hhmmm... thanks to the KKH emergency hotline, i managed to get some advise. After a while, or shld i say an hour, it went off & i am back to normal. perfectly normal. phewww! well, my edd is weeks to come so not expecting anything & esp its still april. At least if the baby were to come, the first week of May would be perfect. all the more reasons to share the joy on Mothers' Day. Anyway, I have stopped cooking everyday, apart from the breakfast or soup for the kids, main course is lesser now. I am getting lazier each day and tire out easily. Lucky its just a false alarm...

Its hot night.. cant get to sleep...

SO here i am seating, slouching on my bed rambling with chilled drinks and trying to free myself frm the ever-busting warm night... or shld i say in the wee hours? hubby is not home yet and i am feeling so heaty that i got up from my sleep, just cant get back to sleep again. And the cruel fact is, need to be up by 6.30am, breakfast for my boys and off to sent them for their swimming training. yeah! I know what u are thinking, its cool. for them but not me, i cant fit anymore into my swimsuit sinc ei touch my 35weeks... the suit just wun give way to this poor bumper. sad. I know. and knowing that swimming helps during your pregnancy, i just cant help it anymore. I am still trying, hoping that by reading others moms' blogspot, i am able to go back to my dreams again...

Hot weather rantings...

Last night was already very hot, globally i believe the earth is erupting.... and of course during my last trimester its very heaty especially when everything starts to bloom too much. I kept on drinking chrysanthemum tea & home-brewed rosehips teas... chilled of course. I should not be drinking too much tea fact that i am thalassemic, minor. But i just cant help it! Its too hot and drinking any warm beverage will not help at all. I read somewhere that when you are on the lower blood count, you shldnt be drinking the normal strong tea, instead sip the ones with flavours... hopefully it helps. But i am lucky i have no frequent leg-cramps, guess thanks to all those prenatals & brisk-walking. It helps a lot.

And now, its blazing heaty outside my window thou yes, its windy at the same time but i felt suffocated, have been changing my home-cooked menu these days to coolong recipes. My kids are feeling the heat too. And yes, the fan is blasting to full volume!! Dun mentioned about the AC.

Today, Khair had cereals while Sufi had ready-made mini pancakes topped with home-made cranberries jam... a changed.. compared to their normal heavy breakfast of fried rice. By 11am, they had soupy carrot rice right before they went off to school.

And now, while chilling out with my cool tea, i am wondering my hubby is going to frown badly and you might think that he just had a brawl at work... its hot and bet he is really not in a jolly mood....
